Spelling Bee

The GWHE Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in Middlebury. I had the opportunity to be a judge and really enjoyed the experience! The kids were all so focused and did a wonderful job. And they seemed to have had a great time! There were 15 contestants.

The winner, Dominic Morlino, will compete in the New Haven Register Spelling Bee in March, for a chance to go to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in D.C. He won on the word, “militant”. Congrats, Dominic!!!

Grant Oberle came in second place and in third place was Joseph Suess.

Great job, chickabiddies!!!
